First things first

I was reading a blog about Starbucks chairman Howard Schultz morning routine:

Howard Schultz tells Fortune magazine: "I get up between 5 and 5:30, and
naturally the first thing I do is make some coffee; depending on my mood, it's
either an espresso macchiato or one of our Indonesian coffees in a French press.
I'll take my coffee, read three newspapers -- the Seattle Times, the Wall Street
Journal, and the New York Times -- and listen to a voicemail summarizing sales
results from the past 24 hours. This has been my routine for 25 years. [...]
I was thinking how funny it is to have the same routine for 25 years...lately I feel like my routine is anything but routine. My alarm is set for 4am on most days and I have my reading light next to my bed on a timer to go off at 3:30am so it will start waking me up before the alarm does. Once I've come to I grab my Bible and read that mornings passages. I then get up, use the restroom and make the bed. Then that's where my routine falls apart LOL. I wish I could say that I go to the gym, or even have coffee & read the paper...but every day is different for me lately and some days I don't even get coffee because I'm sidetracked busy with something else and then just as I'm finally getting to the kitchen to grab some coffee and something to eat my wonderful hubbie comes home from work and says he's hungry for lunch....it's only 9 or 10am...but when a man's hungry, he's hungry!
